" For months part-angel Clara Gardner trained to face the raging forest fire from her visions and rescue the alluring and mysterious Christian Prescott from the blaze. But nothing could prepare her for the fateful decisions she would be forced to make that day, or the startling revelation that her purpose—the task she was put on earth to accomplish—is not as straightforward as she thought.
Now, torn between her increasingly complicated feelings for Christian and her love for her boyfriend, Tucker, Clara struggles to make sense of what she was supposed to do the day of the fire. And, as she is drawn further into the world of part angels and the growing conflict between White Wings and Black Wings, Clara learns of the terrifying new reality that she must face: Someone close to her will die in a matter of months. With her future uncertain, the only thing Clara knows for sure is that the fire was just the beginning."

Review: I am not a fan of love triangles but Hand pulled it off very well. Between Unearthly where we learn a lot about Tucker and Hallowed where we learn more about Christian I can truly say I am right in the middle when it comes to who I like. They both have characteristics that would make any girl swoon. I personally love Clara and Tuckers chemistry but her being with Christian given the circumstances makes more sense especially in the long run. So I'm really interested to see how it all plays out between the three.
There wasn't as much action in Hallowed but it didn't take away from it at all. This was what I would describe as an emotional roller coaster read. So much heartbreak and moments of sadness that it really sucked me in to where it was hard to even tear myself away from the book.
Also a lot of the questions which were left up in the air in Unearthly are answered. Many of Clara's moms secrets are revealed, we learn tons more about the angels and their back story along with some surprising things about Clara and her lineage.
Overall this was a beautifully written book and if your looking for a good series about angels pick this one up.
Great review - I absolutely loved this book, it really tugged at the heart strings!
