Lucky Morgan has had her share of heartbreak. She is devastated when her boyfriend dumps her after sleeping with him and she vows to herself that she won't be used again. She decides that the next guy she dates and sleeps with, will be her one true love.

Zane Beaumont is the mysterious and snooty guy that comes into her diner every Friday night with a different girl. He's the type of guy she's learned to avoid: carefree, fast, handsome, rich, and sarcastic. Unfortunately, she can't stop thinking about the devilish gleam in his eyes.

When Lucky's car breaks down one night after a party, it is Zane who comes to her rescue. As Zane attempts to sweep Lucky off of her feet, she soon realizes that nothing is as it seems and that Zane may very well be the guy for whom she changes the rules. That is until she meets Braydon.

First Line: "He wasn't sure why he always chose this diner."

Review: Okay you know how every once in a while you come across a book that is epic in ways you can't imagine and you want to shout out to everyone that their lives are incomplete until you have read "insert title" and your pissed off because it deserves more then any five star rating which most of these websites allow you to rate up to...now imagine feeling the complete opposite of all those wonderful feelings...yea that's how I feel right now. WTF did I just read I think giving this book a one star is being generous that's how bad it was for me.

First lets start off with the characters. Every single one of them was one dimensional, lacked any depth and seriously stupid as hell. First off Lucky wanted to fix Zane so instead of finding a guy who is compatible with her she is going to go get someone who has issues that she can fix which of course goes against this "list" that she has created to find someone that can be her Last Boyfriend. Of course she throws that list out the window for Zane she has sex with him which in her list she has no sex before engagement or marriage, the guy has to be honest etc which Zane was not and quite a few other things, actually all of it on her list Zane was the opposite of. Then there was a part where she up and withdrew from classes at her college where she was soon about to graduate, quits her job and decided to go ahead and go to LA with Zane to work on a documentary. And there was Braydon another guy pursuing her he basically at one point said some mean things to her about not being cut out for their world and Lucky did what any common sense having girl would do she was done with him but of course I was more pissed off at her by then because she got mad at Braydon for that but repeatedly let Zane use her. Okay I'm going to stop there as far as Lucky goes just know this girl was infuriatingly senseless and there are countless other scenarios that I can talk about that had me wanting to throw my kindle halfway across the room.

Zane was an ass. I should just say that statement and leave it at that really. I don't know how many times I came across him grabbing and pulling her by the arm. What baffled me the most is this guy is against commitment but Lucky goes off for whatever many hours and he can't reach her all of a sudden because of that he is ready to be her Last Boyfriend. Let's not forget he is a complete hypocrite. He can kiss women in front of Lucky but he gets mad at her when Braydon comes around Lucky. Oh yea and throughout the whole book Zane has a secret something he is hiding so you think it's going to be something of a shocker....but no it was all just pretty unremarkable.

Then the writing was juvenile, the book was rushed and then ugh the ending it was horrible.

Overall a total disaster of a read for me BUT apparently there are quite a bit of people who did love The Last Boyfriend so if all the stuff I mentioned above does not turn you off from this book then check it out...I guess.
