Mini Review: Opal by Jennifer L. Arementrout

Opal by Jennifer L. Armentrout

No one is like Daemon Black.

When he set out to prove his feelings for me, he wasn’t fooling around. Doubting him isn’t something I’ll do again, and now that we’ve made it through the rough patches, well... There’s a lot of spontaneous combustion going on.

But even he can’t protect his family from the danger of trying to free those they love.

After everything, I’m no longer the same Katy. I’m different... And I’m not sure what that will mean in the end. When each step we take in discovering the truth puts us in the path of the secret organization responsible for torturing and testing hybrids, the more I realize there is no end to what I’m capable of. The death of someone close still lingers, help comes from the most unlikely source, and friends will become the deadliest of enemies, but we won’t turn back. Even if the outcome will shatter our worlds forever.

Together we’re stronger... and they know it.

First Line: "I wasn't sure what woke me."

Review:  I am loving this series so far every book in the Lux series has been a page turner and this one was no different.

Everything pretty much picks up from where the last book ended and I just couldn't get enough of Katy and Daemon being so freaking amazing towards each other with how hot and cold things have been between them in the first two books I was waiting for them to just go cold on each other again but there relationship has really grown and it's so damn adorable the way they are with each other now.

Anyways I freaking hate Blake that ass! I can't believe it! I mean I never trusted him to begin with when he appeared again but wtf! Also I was really rooting for Katy and Dee as well I mean I'm not going to lie I hated how Dee was being towards Katy for majority of the book but at the same time I felt so bad for her heck for both of them since under it all you could tell they were miserable without each others friendship.

Oh yea and be ready for one hell of a cliffhanger I mean it's pretty damn epic and I was pissed I didn't have the next book on my shelf so I can see what happens needless to say it's coming in the mail this week sometime.

Memorable Quotes: ~“I love you, Katy. Always have. Always will"

~“You grew up too fast, baby."

Didn't always feel that way, especially this morning when I couldn't find my other flip-flop and I'd been, like, two seconds from kicking a fit.”
