What's your lucky number?

Lyla Wilder is done being the shy, chemistry nerd extraordinaire. While every other college student is out having fun, Lyla is studying. With her cat. Well, she's played it "safe" quite enough, thank you. So she creates a "College Bucket List"―with item #7 being a night of uninhibited, mind-blowing sex...

But she needs some help from her man-whore best friend.

Hockey player Beck Davenport thought Lyla's transformation would be subtle. Man, was he wrong. With every item she ticks off, Beck finds himself growing seriously hot for his sweet, brainiac best friend. And if he's not careful, he'll end up risking their friendship in order to convince Lyla that he might just be her lucky #7...
First Line:"Ever notice that drunk people are, like, the worst whisperers ever?"

Review:I seriously love best friends to lovers type of books, I always have this big cheesy smile on my face when reading books like this one especially one with such a fun plot.

Lyla is labeled as the nerdy type, she is very smart, hides her body behind layers of clothing and is just going through the motions of going to class and doing the responsible thing, needless to say she is bored so she creates a sort of college bucket list that will make her get out of her comfort zone and have a little bit of fun. Lucky for her she happens to be best friends with Beck a total heartbreaker and someone who has a very short list of people who he would do anything for and Lyla just happens to be on that list which is why he has no problems helping her start checking off her list.

Beck, this dude is your typical he can have any girl he wants type but what made him and Lyla click as friends was that he is a closet nerd. You can tell that the two have never looked at each other as more then just friends but with each item that Lyla checks off her list Beck starts seeing her in a whole different light and Lyla starts to discover some new found feelings for him and then came some serious sexual tension between the two which I had so much fun reading. I really loved how their friendship was done, it seemed real and they were just perfect for each other.

What I liked about Lyla was that even though she was making all these changes she never lost herself it was more like she discovered herself. Overall if your looking for a sweet romance that is fun with endearing characters then I highly recommend Getting Lucky Number Seven.
