What would you do if you were born to be a predator? Would you fight your natural instincts or give in to your nature?

Eden is a soul eater closing in on her Awakening. Her family has convinced her that soon she will have to take a life in order to save her own. It’s a decision Eden doesn’t want to deal with even as her hunger for souls grows stronger every day.

To complicate her impossible position, new guy in school Noah Valois’ determination to befriend her puts Eden in touch with a humanity she’s never known. Addicted to his company, his friendship and affection, she becomes more and more terrified that giving into her hunger will mean losing him forever…

… But when she discovers that Noah is not what he seems, his betrayal forces her to face two choices. One will offer her revenge and the destruction of a boy she loved. The other may offer her a life of eternal redemption…

First Line: "Her brother, Stellan, was always telling her curiosity killed the cat."

Review: Samantha Young is one of my all time favorite authors and Blood Will Tell was everything I expected and then some. You have a kick ass heroine who is just perfect. She doesn't get all boy crazy with Noah they have a real and true friendship at least on her end Noah has secrets huge secrets and even though we know what it is thanks to the dual pov Eden has no idea and when she finds out well wow things get tense on an epic level between the two, put it like this the girl puts a blade through him, you don't see that often between love interests. And Eden had every right to be pissed off at him and not trust him anymore but the fact we got Noah's pov we know he is good and he has feelings for Eden which he is trying to sort out.

This book is not just Noah and Eden it is so much more then them, you have Eden's family her dad and cousin are some sick twisted psychotic individuals and you will hate them the second you meet them. Then there is the relationship between Eden and her brother Stellan it was really sad how things played out for Stellan and then having to see Eden lose herself the way she did.

Overall excellent read the book is very fast paced with tons of action, an intriguing plot and awesome characters. I plan on starting the next book in the series very soon.

Memorable Quotes: ~ "She would see it as betrayal. Nothing more. Nothing less."
